Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Akoya, your trusted provider of at-home beauty services for ladies. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Akoya booking platform and the beauty services provided by independent beauticians. By booking or receiving a service through Akoya, you (“the Client”) agree to comply with and be legally bound by these Terms.

1. Services Overview

Akoya provides a platform to connect clients with trained, vetted, and independent female beauticians for at-home beauty services. Beauticians are independent contractors, not employees or agents of Akoya. They provide their own professional-grade tools and products.

Akoya’s role is to:

  • Facilitate bookings and scheduling.

  • Communicate service details and confirmations.

  • Manage payment processing.

  • Ensure a high standard of safety, hygiene, and customer issue resolution.

2. Bookings & Appointments

  • Booking Channel: All appointments must be booked via our official WhatsApp: +92 314 1112164.

  • Operating Hours: Monday–Saturday, 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM. Messages outside these hours will be answered the next business day.

  • Confirmation: An appointment is only confirmed when you receive a booking confirmation message with the service, date, time, and beautician details.

  • Availability: Same-day bookings are subject to availability and not guaranteed.

  • Technician Assignment: Akoya reserves the right to assign more than one beautician if multiple or specialized services are requested.

3. Pricing & Payment

  • Pricing: All prices are fixed and non-negotiable. They are communicated at the time of booking and may change at Akoya’s discretion. Updated prices apply to future bookings, not already confirmed ones.

  • Payment: Full payment is due immediately upon service completion. Accepted methods: Cash, Easypaisa, JazzCash, Bank Transfer.

  • Unpaid Services: Failure to pay may result in suspension of future bookings until dues are cleared.

4. Cancellations, Rescheduling & Waiting Charges

  • Free Cancellation: You may cancel or reschedule up to 1 hour before the appointment with no charge.

  • Late Cancellation / No-Show: Less than 1-hour notice or refusal of service after the beautician arrives incurs a PKR 1,000 cancellation fee (must be paid before future bookings).

  • Waiting Charges: If the client delays the start of service by more than 15 minutes, PKR 250 per 15 minutes waiting charge applies.

5. Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide a safe, clean, and private space for the service with access to power, water, and a bathroom.

  • Confine pets and ensure children under 13 have separate childcare during the appointment.

  • Secure all valuables, documents, and personal items before service begins.

  • Refrain from inappropriate behavior, harassment, or misconduct toward the beautician.

6. Health & Safety

  • Hygiene: Beauticians use sanitized tools, disposable kits, and premium hygiene practices.

  • Medical Conditions: You must disclose any allergies, health concerns, or skin sensitivities at the time of booking.

  • Refusal of Service: Beauticians may refuse or terminate service if they feel unsafe, the environment is unhygienic, or the conditions prevent them from performing their work.

7. Security & Verification

  • Client Verification: First-time clients must provide CNIC and a utility bill to verify the service address.

  • Beautician Verification: Clients may request to see the beautician’s CNIC upon arrival.

  • Mutual Consent: Recording videos, taking photos, or sharing personal data during the service is prohibited without explicit consent from both parties.

8. Off-Platform Engagement

Akoya’s guarantees, support, and quality assurance apply only to services booked through official channels. Directly engaging a beautician for future services outside Akoya’s platform voids all protections, and Akoya will not be responsible for any disputes, damages, or issues arising from such arrangements.

9. Intellectual Property

All logos, content, branding, and media on Akoya’s digital platforms are the property of Akoya. Unauthorized use, duplication, or distribution without prior written consent is strictly prohibited.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Akoya is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our platform or services.

  • Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the service in question.

  • Akoya is not liable for delays or failure to perform due to causes beyond our reasonable control (e.g., traffic, weather, emergencies).

11. Promotions & Deals

All offers, deals, and discounts are subject to availability, have specified validity dates, and cannot be altered, transferred, or duplicated. Akoya may disable or cancel a promotion at any time without notice.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Pakistan.
